Costs and Fees

Tuition

The SEASSI 2012 program fee for the 8-week program will be $3400.* This includes the cost of UW-Madison assessments for use of campus facilities (student service, recreational facilities, etc.). The fee does not include the cost of textbooks or living expenses (see below). We encourage students to apply for financial aid to attend SEASSI.

*Exception: UW-Madison undergraduates who are classified as resident or Minnesota reciprocity for tuition purposes follow regular UW-Madison Summer 2012 fee schedule.

When is Tuition Due?

Tuition for SEASSI is due on the Friday of the first week of classes. For SEASSI 2012 tuition is due Friday June 22, 2012.

Housing, Books, Incidentals

The cost of required textbooks will vary between the different languages offered at SEASSI, but students should plan to spend roughly $150.00 for textbooks. Summer housing can vary greatly in the Madison campus area, but a frugal student could safely budget $1800.00 for housing and meal costs for the summer.

Please see Resources for Housing page for more information on housing options in Madison for summer 2012, and also Financial Aid page for additional funding opportunities at SEASSI.
