Student Project Videos

  • 2008 Khmer Culture Night Performance (on YouTube)
  • Here's the amazing video/live performance by 2008 students at SEASSI "Culture Night," which explains the amazing mystery of our "perfect" summer of SEASSI Volleyball (all losses, no wins).

  • 'Cambodian Idol' Video
  • The Khmer program is known for lavish and complex productions for their presentations at SEASSI Culture Night at the end of the summer. In 2006, students made this video, which was accompanied by a live performance at the end (unfortunately, we don't have a video of that).

    Student 'TV Commercial'

  • Student Hair Salon Ad Video
  • As part of learning formal speaking style, Intermediate SEASSI students design and record their own "TV Commercials. This one was done in 2004, and edited by our resident film student that year, Phally Chroy.

    Student Independent Study Project Documents

  • Khmer Food Project, 2004
  • Excerpt from a booklet explaining Basketball in Khmer, 2005
  • AIDS Health Education Project, 2004
  • Intermediate and Advanced students in the Khmer SEASSI program complete a substantial independent study project on the topic of their choice over the course of the summer; it counts for 30% of your grade for the course. Above you'll find links to some (PDF) documents from various student projects at past SEASSIs. These PDFs will open in a separate browser window.
