Program Dates

The 2023 Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute will take place from Monday, June 19, through Friday, August 11, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Classes are held from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm, Mondays through Fridays. No class will be held on July 4.

History

SEASSI was established in 1983 to provide high quality intensive language instruction in at least eight of the major Southeast Asian languages at one location during the summer. Read more.
